Polio, Diphtheria & Tetanus Vaccination
If you are planning to travel to an area at risk for polio or diphtheria, you may need the polio, diphtheria, and tetanus vaccine. Whether you require this booster depends on the date of your last vaccination.
Important Note:
Our clinics cannot administer post-exposure doses of the tetanus vaccine. If you are concerned that you may have a contaminated wound, clean the wound with soap and warm water, and contact NHS 111 for advice. For more serious wounds or if bleeding cannot be stopped, please visit A&E immediately. Our clinics provide the tetanus vaccination only for travel or occupational health purposes.
