Small prayer sticks are 2" long plus bail/ear wires. Mediums are 2.25". Large are 2 5/8". Pendants include substantial bail and 18" box chain. Earrings have French ear wires.

Prayer Stick

Each Lakota family had a prayer stock made from the limb of a cottonwood tree. The symbols represent the name of a person in their family. They hold the stick with honor and respect in their prayers.

Many Stuart Grant sterling silver pieces are oxidized (intentionally tarnished) to enhance the design. Do not use liquid or dip silver polish on oxidized pieces. Store sterling silver in Ziploc bags to deter tarnishing. Clean with a soft silver polishing cloth and use a paste silver polish only on the raised and smooth surfaces when necessary.
